University of Tampa Housing Article
The Fullbright research proposal investigates how religiosity influences quality of life. The proposal focuses on two Welsh communities, Caerphilly and Llanfairpwllgwyngyll, and analyzes the impact of religiosity on the individuals’ standard of living in these two religiously differing landscapes. The proposal was formulated through developing a clear research question, reviewing existing literature, and designing a methodology for leveraging religious variance amongst regions. The completed proposal presents the significance and potential contributions that would result from this research on the intersection of religiosity and quality of life.
Florida Communication Association Communication Audit
Writing this article involved addressing and expanding upon the challenges that students at The University of Tampa face securing on-campus housing, as well as the other impacts the housing shortages have had on them. The article delves into the limitations of on-campus housing availability, the rising living costs in Tampa, and student perspectives on the university’s application process and housing policies. Preparation for this project included interviewing students and officials at The University of Tampa, researching local housing market trends, and presenting a balanced view of the issue.

Machine Learning and Generative AI Op-Ed
The Op-Ed article reflects my personal journey and experiences with machine learning and generative Artificial Intelligence, specifically fears and unknowns that surround the subject. I explore the ways in which I educated myself on machine learning and AI use over the last few years, specifying both the benefits and challenges that coincide with their uses in everyday life. The Op-Ed consists of personal anecdotes, explanations of concepts, and comparisons of technological shifts, while also contributing to the public discourse surrounding machine learning and AI.
The Florida Communication Association communication audit assesses the association's messaging, audience engagement, and communication channels. The communication audit was a collaborative effort that I completed the backgrounder, evaluations, and recommendations for. These aspects of the audit analyze the FCA’s current communication and media strategies, as well as their history in order to identify the organization's strengths and areas in need of improvement. This involved examining their communication platforms, like their newsletters, website, social media activity, and stakeholder feedback. This audit presented recommendations that would work to enhance the FCA’s online presence, student engagement, and digital transparency in order to support membership growth.
The Florida Communication Association backgrounder and news release promote the FCA’s 2025 conference and provide the necessary context regarding the organization’s mission and history. The project worked to announce the FCA’s 2025 annual conference, the proposal submission for the conference, and a detailed overview of the association. Developing the backgrounder and news release required emphasizing the FCA’s upcoming event significance and impact as an organization. The finalized products effectively communicate the promotion of proposal submissions, the annual conference, and the organizational background of the association.
Florida Communication Association Media Kit
The media kit, which includes: a medial list, social media calendar, flyer, and brochure for the Florida Communication Association, was a collaborative project. My main contributions fell on the flyer, media list, and social media calendar. Developing the media kit required the collaboration of multiple communication tools in order to develop consistent promotional materials that improve the FCA’s visibility, social outreach, and member engagement. Working collaboratively, my team was able to create cohesive and timely messaging for the FCA that provides them with practical resources to carry out their mission and goals.
